Seoul (March 10, 2009) - Xcrypt, Inc. (www.xcrypt.co.kr) today announced that Unitel de Bolivia, http://www.unitel.tv/site/index.php has selected Xcrypt Conditional Access solutions to secure the regional distribution of its satellite feed to cable operators throughout Latin America.

In partnership with its distributor in the region, AV Sistema of Buenos Aires, Argentina, Xcrypt won the deal among top-tier CAS providers. The Xcrypt-secured Unitel channel will be received by over 100 of Unitel’s professional customers using Xcrypt compatible receivers to ensure reliable and highly secure DVB-S2 transmission.

This new deal in the Latin American region shows that Xcrypt’s policy of working with local distributors shortens the acceptance cycle by local broadcasters. “Latin America is a difficult market where a local presence is key. Our partnership with local Systems Integrators such as AV Sistema allows us to immediately identify opportunities and offer an adapted solution” says Mr Sohn, Xcrypt’s President and CEO. “There are two axis of development to our presence in Latin America.
